EXPERIENCE / Rest On Us (re:said)

Verse 1

I don’t want a second hand faith
I want to know You for myself
I don’t want a second hand faith
I don’t want to settle for less
Than ev’rything You have for me
I don’t want to settle for less

Chorus

I want to experience
The goodness of Your love
The power of You touch
The Fire from heaven above
I want to experience
Your wonder-working ways
Your glory in this place
And find You all over again
So here I am

Verse 2

Break off ev’ry limit I’ve set
Till all my doubts are left for dead
Break off ev’ry limit I’ve set
Come and do whatever You want
‘Cause I am here for no one else
Who knows how You’re gonna move next?

Bridge

If Moses saw the fire
If David killed Goliath
Then use me for Your glory
Write a new story in me

If Joshua saw the promise
If Elijah beat the prophets
Then use me for Your glory
Write a new story in me

If Mary kept the word alive
If Peter left the boat behind
Then use me for Your glory
Write a new story in me

If Jairus saw awakening
If Jesus said greater things
Then use me for Your glory
Write a new story in me

Write a new story in me
Write a new story
Write a new story in me

Fire and wind come and do it again
Open up the gates let heaven on in
