NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES / Holy Forever (re:said)

Verse 1

God became a man
He was humble as a lamb
The Word appearing in the flesh
To save the world He loves
Even on a Roman cross
He was obedient to death

Chorus

You’re the Name above all names

Verse 2

Holy blood was spilled
On the Cross of Calv’ry’s hill
He broke the curse of Adam’s sin
They locked Him in the grave
But He put its boast to shame
He tore its grip and rose again

Verse 3

High and lifted up
He ascended far above
His throne in heaven and rules the earth
He is the King of kings
For the Father gave to Him
The Name that only He deserves

Chorus

You’re the Name above all names
All the glory, the power, the praise
To the Name above all names

Bridge

There’s only so long Babylon can stand
Only so long till the King rides in
Ev’ry knee will bow before
Ev’ry tongue confess that He is Lord

Coming with fire burning in His eyes
Coming with power to split the skies
Ev’ry knee will bow before
Ev’ry tongue confess that He is Lord

We’ll see Him with a sword coming from His mouth
Armageddon’s armies will be cut down
Ev’ry knee will bow before Je-sus

Chorus

‘Cause Your Name is the highest
And Your Name is the greatest
And Your Name stands above them all
Above all thrones and dominions
All pow’rs and positions
Your Name stands above them all
