Prince Of Peace

Verse 1

Our God is the Prince of Peace
He is carrying ev’ry burden on his shoulders
God of the ones who weep
He is comforting ev’ry heart weighed down with sorrow

Chorus

You help us stand when the ground starts shaking
Your outstretched hand is strong to save
So we call on You again
To heal this broken land
Maranatha, come Lord, come
Maranatha, come Lord, come

Verse 2

Our God is the King of kings
And the government, it is resting on His shoulders
God, seated on the throne
Ruling over all, He’s the everlasting Father

Bridge

We cry out on our knees
For You to intervene
In all the suffering
We need Your peace, God

We plead the Blood of Christ
Over the battle lines;
Come heal and reconcile,
We need Your peace, God.

We pray and prophesy
With holy hands held high
For ev’ry child we cry
We need Your peace, God
Your kingdom rule and reign
Here on the earth You made
Let hope arise today
