CAN I CALL YOU MY FRIEND
Come before You as I am?
Can I kneel at the cross
Is there grace enough for that?
Can I rise with the faith
That You died to take my place?
Can I stand and proclaim
That through You I'm born again?

I'm washed whiter than the snow
And I shine brighter than the sun
For You are in me smiling through me
From the moment that I met You at the cross

Yes, I can call You my friend
And come before You as I am
I can kneel at the cross
For there's grace that flows through us
I can rise with the faith
That You died to take my place
I can stand and proclaim
That through You I'm born again!

At the cross I found my freedom, yeah
At the cross I found Your love again
Now I live for You
Safe in the truth that You're alive!
And washed whiter than the snow
