The Drought Is Over

Verse 1

I hear the sound of rushing waters
I stand on the Word of my Father
I feel the hope rising up
I feel the strength from joy
The drought is over

Chorus

Look to the heavens it’s gonna rain
His kingdom’s coming and it’s here today
Lift your head up, get your hopes up
Jesus reigns

Verse 2

I hear the sound of sons and daughters
Declaring the words of our Father
Lord, ev’ry day and ev’ry night
You are the source of life
The drought is over

Bridge

And a thrill of hope can’t be contained
(See) fear won’t silence His people’s praise
So lift your hands and raise your voice
The Gospel’s true, let the church rejoice
